Our Christmas decorations for the Christmas tree are mouth-blown from transparent glass and painstakingly hand-painted.
Most glass ornaments are blown into molds. To create the mold, the ornament is first modeled in modeling clay, and then a negative mold is cast in metal. The molten glass is then blown into this mold. After the interior is silver-plated, the colors and glitter are applied by hand to each piece individually in many steps.
Some of our glassblowing works of art are cleverly assembled from several pieces using sophisticated techniques.
We also carry hand-blown Christmas tree ornaments. Our glassblowers shape each piece directly from molten glass. Each ornament is unique, yet consistent throughout the series. These are real challenges for the glassblowers.
Our Christmas tree baubles are lovingly crafted in the classic countries of origin for glass Christmas decorations: Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
For postal delivery in Switzerland, Europe, America and Canada, the tree decorations are carefully packaged and shipped quickly.
