Our Christmas tree decorations are mouth-blown from transparent glass and painstakingly painted by hand. Most glass ornaments are blown into molds. To create the mold, the ornament is first modeled in modeling clay, and then a negative mold is cast in metal. The molten glass is then blown into this mold. After the interior is silver-plated, the colors and glitter are applied by hand to each piece in several steps. Some of our glassblowing works of art are cleverly assembled from several pieces using a sophisticated technique. We also offer free-blown Christmas tree decorations. The glassblowers form each piece directly from the molten glass. Each ornament is unique, yet the same across the series. These are real challenges for the glassblowers. Our Christmas tree baubles are lovingly crafted in the classic countries of origin for glass Christmas decorations. These are traditionally Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic. For mail delivery within Switzerland, Europe, the Americas, and Canada, the tree decorations are packaged with great care and shipped quickly.
